Mr Pryce
Today in class Mr Pryce recapped once again the regulatory bodies ASA and Ofcom. ASA stands for Advertising Standards Authority, you can find a description of what they are what they do on a page on my blog. Ofcom is the government-approved regulatory and competition authority for broadcast, telecommunications and more recently the postal industry. You can find more about it on my blog page on Ofcom. Another thing mentioned in this morning’s lecture is establishing the connection to the audience through the advert and how to define an audience. The activity for the day was to polish up the work done on analysing our adverts (Unit 45) and look at moving onto analysing adverts for television (Unit 30)
